Also, the customer service reps stated that buying a commercial router/modem or a 2 in 1 won't solve my problem.

THEN WHAT WILL?

You mentioned that you were thinking about getting a new router and even if this does not resolve the current problem, it would be a good step to take, considering all of the issues you have had. That way you would be able to enable more security features, that should come with the latest type.
Here in the UK, the larger ISP's provide free routers that get updated from time to time. Maybe this is something you could check with your ISP?
Try running those Nirsoft tools and see if that new IP address is showing.
Also if they provide any more information.

It looks as if there may not be enough drive space to run the Windows Update.
I suggest that you use the Windows Disk Cleanup tool, as follows..

  • On your keyboard, press the Windows and R keys at the same time to open the Run window.
  • Type cleanmgr and click OK.
  • The Disk Cleanup window should appear.
  • Select the drive you want to clean and click OK.
  • Tick the boxes for the items that you want to delete, and then click OK.
  • You can also click the Clean up system files button, but I'd leave that alone when doing regular maintenance.
  • Click OK and then click Delete files.

Free up any more space that you can and then run the Windows Update Troubleshooter as follows.
Select Start  > Settings  > Update & Security   > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
Next, under Get up and running, select Windows Update > Run the troubleshooter.
Please advise if the problem is then resolved.

1- headed to get the new equipment.

2-did both the clean-up and update and the Update is taking too long or it should?

Just this evening, I logged on for maybe five minutes then all of a sudden it was as if I was kicked off even though I was all plugged in with no issues. Then, after some time, maybe 20 minutes, all of a sudden my internet came back on. Yet no issues on my side to show why.

Is that nameserver the access for the hacker?

Additionally, my pc told me while running updates that it doesn't have requirements for Windows 11.

So, the updates can only go so far before I hit a wall?
