Details: The No. 6 seed Golden Eagles upset No. 3 seed Austin Peay Tuesday night in Clarksville, 68-65, to advance to the OVC semifinals. Tech will play No. 2 seed Morehead State this Friday at 8 p.m. in Nashville's Bridgestone Arena (formerly the Sommet Center).
Tech fans may purchase tickets for the semifinals and finals for $20 per session. Tickets are on sale until noon Thursday at the Athletics Ticket Office in Eblen Center at (931) 372-3940 or at www.ttusports.com. After that, tickets can be purchased at the game Friday and Saturday.

On Friday evening, the TTU Alumni Association is hosting a pregame celebration for all Tech fans from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at the Big River Grille, 111 Broadway, in downtown Nashville. Wear your purple and gold and meet us in the back mezzanine for complimentary appetizers!

Details: Join us for a reception that will include a variety of heavy hors d'oeuvres, soft drinks, beer and wine. Following the reception, relax in the high back leather recliners and enjoy our featured movie from a private balcony. Due to venue restrictions for the Prive´ Room, this event will be for ages 21 and over only.
Movie choices include:
- Alice in Wonderland 3-D (begins at 7 p.m.)
- Brooklyn's Finest (begins at 7:50 p.m.)
- Cop Out (begins at 7:30 p.m.)
Event Times & Locations: The reception begins at 5:30 p.m., and the movie will follow. The event will be held in The Prive' Room (upstairs) at Monaco Pictures, 370 The Bridge St., Huntsville, Ala. (Get directions or view a map).
Registration deadline: Register online or call Alumni Relations at (800) 889-8730 or (931) 372-3205. The deadline to register is Tuesday, March 9. If you register online, please e-mail your movie choice to alumni@tntech.edu.
Cost: The cost for the reception and movie is $20 per person.
Date: The February 11 luncheon has been canceled because of the winter weather situation, but we'll be rescheduling soon. Please check back!
Details: Network with other TTU alumni and friends while enjoying lunch. Meet College of Engineering Dean David Huddleston and other members of the TTU administration.
Event Times & Locations: The luncheon will be held at noon at Lockheed Martin Corporation, MS2 Dahlgren Operations, 16442 Commerce Drive, King George, Va. (map).
Parking will be available in the auxiliary parking lot across the street, and there may be some open spaces in the employee parking area as well.
Upon entering the building, guests will need to sign in and be assigned a security badge. The luncheon will be held in the large conference room that is adjacent to the reception area (near the entrance).
